The Evidence Based Birth® Comfort Measures Workshop was designed for Labor and Delivery Nurses but it is the perfect opportunity for doulas to gain some hands-on experience and learn a few new tricks from an instructor with 8 years of birth experience! All of the comfort measures included have been involved in research studies to back up their effectiveness. This is a 3-hour class and will take place Friday, January 10 from 10-1. The cost is $50. Space is limited!
Learning Objectives for the Comfort Measures Workshop:
- Discuss the evidence on comfort measures
- Demonstrate and practice a variety of comfort measures (CUB seat, peanut balls, tub, acupressure, rebozo, etc)
- Discuss how we can overcome barriers to providing comfort measures
