Host: Birth Tribe's Certified Childbirth Educators (Vanessa, Ashley, or Melissa) What: Birth Basics When: TBD Time: TBD Where: Birth Tribe by The Well 495 Blake St Unit D New Haven, CT 06052 Birth Basics is a one day childbirth education class that focuses only on labor and birth. This class is direct and instructor led information, that contains less partner excercises, in order to conserve time. An advanced comfort measures class, can be enrolled in separately. We will discuss the physiology and progression of labor and birth relaxation techniques, coping methods such as water, meditation, and positions, analgesia options for those having hospital births, potential interventions, and the birth companions role during labor and birth. This class is limited to 6 (1 partner/birth companion attends at no cost)
